The election committee was given the members list for eligible candidates for nominations and verified that they are members in good standing.
The chair welcomes all attendees.
The Chair advised that this is the nominations meeting for the election of officers for CWA Local 6508.
The term of this office is good for 3 years and will start January 1st 2027.
The Chair advises that no other business will be conducted at this meeting.
The Chair opens the floor for nominations for the office of President of CWA local 6508.

There were no other nominations.
The Chair asked if there were any objections to the nomination for the office of President and there
were no objections.
The Chair closed the floor for nominations for the office of President of CWA local 6508.
The Chair opens the floor for nominations for the office of Secretary-Treasurer.
Ricky Elmore nominated Dedric Clingmon for Secretary-Treasurer
Steve Clark and Chris Beasley seconded the nomination.

The Chair asked if there were any objections to the nomination for the office of Secretary-Treasurer and there
were no objections.
The Chair closed the floor for nominations for the office of Secretary-Treasurer.
The Chair opens the floor for nominations for the Office of Vice President of CWA Local 6508.
Peter Beck nominated Chris Beasley for Vice President.
Yulonda James seconded the nomination.

The Chair asked if there were any objections to the nomination for the office of Vice President and there
were no objections.
The Chair closed the floor for nominations for the office of Vice President.
The Chair asked if there were any questions.
Chris Beasley asked about the process and how the election was going to be run.
The election committee met with the nominees and went over the rules concerning the election process.
The election committee asked the nominees to sign their acceptance form and to sign under their signature how they would like to have their name displayed on the ballot.
All nominees signed their acceptance form and listed how they wanted their name to appear on the ballot.
Chris Beasley and Rickey Elmore were asked who wanted to be listed first on the ballot. Chris Beasley said he didn't mind if Ricky Elmore was listed first. Ricky Elmore said OK.

The election committee advised the current nominees and current officers about the prohibition against the use of union and employer funds (including cash, facilities, equipment, supplies and campaigning on time paid for by the union or employer) to support any person's candidacy in a union.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:21pm.
